Greetings from the Midwest,
I never thought I would honestly be saying that. Going to college has been quite the experience, and the culture shock the midwest provides has proven even more interesting. First things first though; I am here at the University of North Dakota to major in Commercial Aviation, and possibly double major in Air Traffic Control. I already have my private pilot’s license, and am now working on my commercial and instrument rating.
Here’s a photo of me and my instructor:
Here is where I am flying from:
OK well I have 3 loads of laundry to get to, more to come.

Looking forward to reading more & seeing more photos! Sounds like it’s going well. I’ve been thinking of you and hoping it’s all giong well. Love, Aunt Kathleen aka Feenie
Hi Bo,
You’re a natural in the pilot’s seat! I’ve been thinking about you, too. It sounds like you are enjoying college life so far, and I’m so glad for you. I hope you write more about your adventures and take more photos! What other activities (besides studying) have you been doing?
We’ve been having a bit of a heat wave here in the Bay Area, and I’m getting really spoiled by all of this Spring weather… It makes for lousy skiing in the Sierras, though, but I’m not complaining.
Take care, dear one.
Love, (Auntie) Julie
Hi Bo!
I was looking at the new photos from your trip back from school…I had no idea that’s how you were getting home! Seems like you’re first year was quite a success. I already got work off for the 4th, so I better see you there! Can’t wait to hear lots of college stories, you can help me re-live the good old days
hehe…
Love, Courtney
